fuel pump (walbro 190?)

i was wondering if anybody has successfully changed out their fuel pump with a walbro 190 on a 8th gen i4? i ordered one and im trying to install it but its too long!?!? the clips wont fit with the new pump in it. :?
all it has on the pump is the walbro W and GSS250 16704-1 made in usa pat 4500270 5421306
now the gss 250 ? does that mean its not a 190?
any help would be hot.
