cleaning an intake??

hey sup.. need to clean my intake but do not know how to go about doin it.. what just screw of the front filter part and use the k&n filter cleaner or what?>

youre talking about cleaning your intake filter??

first check to see if your filter is cleanable. many filters aren't


if you have a k&n or equivalent like from injen or aem just use the k&n cleaner kit

if you have another type of filter, like lets say from the weapon-r, use the cleaner kit for that since many weapon-r's have the foam filter.

and etc.
