Shift knob stuck...

Wussup people,

I installed a shift knob about 2 years ago. Today I tried to take off the shift knob and after I unscrewed the 3 screws that hold it in place and it didn't budge at all.

I really don't know what is wrong with it. Could it be that it got rusted on there or something... I tried twisting, pulling... pushing and nada...

this happend to me, what it was the trigger that connects the shift knob to the actual stick was not making a full connection when i pushed the button to shift gears. I readjusted it and has worked fine for three years.
