anyone try these yet? i tried searching the forum but not many ppl have yellow fogs in the first place. for $30, it seems like a fair price. do you think these will give the same lexus yellow fog color?

You probably want to go with one that includes the entire fog light housing as well...

I have those exact yellow Nokya's. They look really yellow like Lexus HID foglights. I'm selling my pair so let me know(PM)if you want them.

i want like crazy yellow and so there is this place down here which do just like hid lighting and stuff.. so i called them this mornin and asked them that i wanted to make my fogs look like the IS and than they were like 2 options..
1. get yellow hid bulb - do a retrofitment($450).. too much money.. or
2. buy some of the bulb they carry and install them ($55).. hope the output is not like my nokia....

some people on the forum mentioned that u cannot put high temperature bulb in the fog as the fog light is made of plastic so i guess bulbbles up..so.. they mentioned to buy same looking fogs from ebay or something and than put high watts bulbs so.. that it wont bubble..

thats too much $$ just to make it look good. upwards $100 just for lights

may be i wil buy 55$ on bulbs and get them installed and see.. u should try to get new fogs and sell u stock ones and try to put yellow bulbs in the new oness.. cause the new ones will be made of glass..so.. the yellow light will be more visible instead of our stock one which look kind of weird from out sid.e. little wrikkle... u know .. so..

all bulbs r made of glass. ur probably thinking of the foglight itself. it only bubbles if u put a high wattage bulb in.

I just put the 893 Nokya Hyper Yellow in my foglights yesterday. They look alright. I'm not sure if I liked my old bulbs better. Thing is, I have Piaa Optilux headlight bulbs (until I get HID) and wanted something that either matched them good, or looked like a Lexus.. nothing seems to be too nice so far. https://www.thegalantcenter.org/style_emoticons/default/sad.gif

u know what... i found some guy u sells yellow HID'S.. and he told me that that will work sweet but the worry i have is some people on the forums have told me that our fogs tend to bubble up when high temp.. so.. wtf.. so.. i do not know if i should change the whole fogs or just put hid's.. i have right now nokia .. and they are yelliwsh but not as bright as others...

I wanna get the Hella Optilux 2500 foglights and replace the stock ones. I was never sure about the halo though, is it always a halo? Or when you have them on does it light up the whole thing? I'm confused.. :?

Before seeing this forum today, I thought I was the only one interested in some fogs that look like the Lexus GS430s, etc. Those would look NICE, but I'm sure you need all new foglight assemblies
