View Full Version : My Xenon Projector project...need suggestions

Well as of Tuesday I'll be ordering this kit (2nd Kit down ~ Valeo Projectors):

Ill also be using this tut:

Basicly I going to be cutting out the back of the headlight housing and sticking a straight peice of plexiglass back there with ONE projector in the middle (in the tut, he has the plexiglass 'stepped' and he uses 2 projectors).
Its going to look like this:

Also I will be cutting a larger hole into the chrome inner housing so I can stick the projector through it. The part of the chrome housing where the headlight is, will be painted black (ill keep the turn signal portion of it chrome).

So any suggestions or useful links? What would be really useful is pictures of the chrome housing by itself (outside the whole headlight housing).

edit: The kit says it comes with a harness but is it the type that plugs directly into the battery? I hear that, thats the best kind to get?

u will lose you hi beams unless u get bi-xenon projectors and selenoids.

Ya but I dont mind for the time being. Though my plan is to get the JDM headlights, and stick the projectors in there, along with the halogen high beams.

Bump. Ok Im ordering the stuff today. Im also getting realllly nervous about the beam alignment.

hey i was going to do teh same thing.. but dude.. i have no skills what so ever in cutting headlights and stuff.. so.. forgot about it.. i know some guy from northern cali.. who is moving down here and he has done his civic projectors so.. if at all i get this thing done it will be himm who is going to help.. so.. but hey ... let me know how it goes.. and if find a earier way than that tutorial that post it.. i would be interested..thankx..

Ya I think Im going to make a tutorial for this. Honestly Im just nervous that the beam pattern will be majory fucked up or something. Other than that, this project is really pretty straight foward.
