i saw on optionimports where it says the drop on the tein ss-p's is something like 1.7 in front and 1.3 rear to 2.? in front and 2.? in the rear...so if you just throw the coilovers in and set them at highest...you still get a 1.7/1.3 drop? or am i not understanding? https://www.thegalantcenter.org/style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif

The range for the front is -1.7 to -2.6 and the rear is like -0.9 to -2.6. Now those numbers are for the Eclipse, so results for the Galant may differ slightly. Plus depending on whether you have the V6 or I4, the front will vary as well. But, yeah, you can't raise the car up all the way back to stock height. There will be a slight drop with them raised all the way.

alright cool...thanks for the answer...and i also had a question for you or anyone with the d3....does your catalytic converter rattle off the first mid-brace ever? mine just started doin that...and im wonderin if it's because the rear of my car got pushed down a bit with all the heavy stereo...

I don't think my cat hits the mid brace at all. I usually have the music on pretty loud that I don't hear any of the rattles in my car. I'll have to check that out. Are you sure that's what the noise is on your car? I can't imagine that anything in your trunk would cause the cat to rattle like that.

yeah its the cat...because i can feel it under my feet...feels like a can of rocks bein shaken around https://www.thegalantcenter.org/style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif and it only does it at idle or a very very very slow roll... you can actually see it visible hit it if you're on the ground while someone has my car in idle...didnt know if anyone else hit this prob...well...i have 2 55lb subs, a 30lb amp, a redtop, and double layer mdf box in the trunk...

my catco hi flow (attached to the dp) was rattling on the mid brace so i took them both off (no cat and no brace). i never did get around to putting the midbrace back on (since i have plenty of clearnace now) but i will.

Yeah, but even if you had 2 tons in your trunk, the exhaust should sink with the rest of the car, not independant of the car.

alrighty...to my mechanic i go...see if he can adjust the exhaust or do somethin...drivin me frickin crazy https://www.thegalantcenter.org/style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif

and the only reason i thought it might be the weight of the stereo is because it started when i got my car back...and i didnt drive it until the stereo was in...i'm sure ill get it figured out though....
