Wiring Question

Ok will i wanna wiring up my Hella Optilux Angel Eye Fogz. I am going to wire the fogs to my stock harness. But if i wire the angel eye to the parking lights will the angel eye only be on when my headlights arent on and the switch is turned once. What if i want to have them on with the fog light and the headlights??

the marking lisht supercede the headlights. so if you wire them into your parking light switch they will be on at that setting, and at the headlights on setting. think about it. if the headlights are on the parking lights are always on. After rewiring my entire harness for an ecu swap, i found that believe it or not, mitsu likes to keep their wiring simple.

but definatly hook the fogs up to your stock fog light wiring. just the angel eye l.e.d.'s to the parking light circuit

good question. hope someone has an answer cuz i just picked up a pair as well.

nope. he turn signals bulbs are kinda like 2 bulbs in 1. 1 filiment for the parking light which u'd hook ur angel eye to and then another brighter filiment for hte turn signal

so where exactly would you splice into the parking light at and any suggestions on how to do it properly?

mine I just connected the positive wire for the 2 angel eyes together so this way only one parking light had to be tapped into and I tapped in right before the socket
I dont remember which color wire to tap into on the parking light off hand though

im glad you found that topic...the few threads i searched through only talked about angel eyes and where to get them, not how to install them. You get teh cookie with teh whipcream!!!!!111

i didnt wire mine to anything in my car...direct power, direct ground, and a switch inside my car...thats just me though 8)
