Clearing Neddles

Will I have any major problems because of me removing my neddles off of my gauges? And what show of the light better??? Clearing out the neddles just from the front or clearing the front and back. I just want super white neddles instead of that ugly orange.

i don't know what neddles are but if you are talking about NEEDLES, there should be a tutorial just above this post on how to do it. i did it. very very very easy. just requires some time, but it's well worth it. hit it up and you will be satisfied

just make sure you do it on a FULL tank so you know where to put the gas needle when you are done.

U dont need to take ur needles out, Just use some nail polish remover, some Q-tips, and some toothpicks.

if u dont take them out, then they will be white, cuz the bottom of them is still white.

Well on mine which is a 99 and my homeboys is a 01, our needles are clear, and we used the q-tips and nail polish remover trick. My other homeboy has a 03 and his turn white. But aztec, said he wanted them white not clear.

yea, i did that too, mine are clear also.

okay, interesting. so i guess 99-01's are just orangeish red on top, while 02-03 are orangish red on top, and white on bottom.

what do my fellow galant owners think??
I 'm going for a white face gauges ( either OEM 99-01 GTZ gauges or after market white gauges ) with I'm thinking white or clear needles and white color bulbs

get the s7 guages, they are hot.

the S7s look hot but I don;t like the colors they light up as,

and yes 99-01 GTZ have white OEM gauges. I think the 9G top models comes with white gauges too. 02-03 all have blue only gauges no matter what trim model galant you have.

When you clear y our needles and do all that does it look good ? From the pics I have seen it looks like I would rather leave it stock . . . . . .

i have an 01 GTZ. not the best pic, but i love my white gauges...i prefer them over the S7's. i have a CF overlay on my bezel now, ive gotten compliments on my gauges. i can take a better pic if you want...

wow, sheesh, i never knew that, looks good. u think i can get GTZ guages from the dealership? or do they sell these same kind somewhere else? and at night, does all the white light up, or just the number and lines? can you take a night pic? did u do anything with the bulbs in the back, like change them?
