some please tell me how to reset the computer i think im doing it wrong. I did a search and couldnt find anything on it thanks guys

pull the battery cable off the terminal. remove the cable that is the one without the boot for like 15 minutes, 30 to be safe. and then just put it back on. you should not remove the battery clamp with the red boot unless u removed the other one first.

Note: you'll probably lose your radio's security code if you have the stock head unit. Make sure you have the code before you disconnect the battery.

On the 2002's,..atleast with mine I leave mine off for around 15's as well but the radio doesn't need a code!! Also when I reset I take both the red and black off in any order. What gets messed up if the red is taken off first? I have been doing this for a while now,...I am just curious.

One way is just more dangerous...I believe electricity flows from negative to positive (or was it positive to negative...) and that's why when we hook up batteries we do it in a certain order, to avoid accidental electrocution.
