How do I setup my foglights so they can be on when my headlights are off? Or at least on when the parking lights are on. Right now, they can only be on when the headlights are. Thanks

You got any pictures? I'm looking into H.I.D. kits. Probably 8000k though. Right now I have Hella Optilux headlight bulbs.

Also, what are some good bulbs for parking lamps? I cleared my corners and have silverstars (blueish/green) that are amber when lit up. I'd like some chrome bulbs, or some clear ones that light up a good white, not a dim blue. I tried some chrome ones that lit up white but it looked more like a dim blue next to my headlights.

Here is the kit I want (H.I.D.) - would it work, and be easy to install?

I'm loaded with questions.. sorry https://www.thegalantcenter.org/style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif

*cough cough* use the https://www.thegalantcenter.org/templates/subSilver/images/icon_mini_search.gif Search ('https://www.thegalantcenter.org/search.php') there are literally hundreds of threads that show you various ways to do this. from splicing you existing wiring to adding sophisticated circuitry.

I tried the search first. https://www.thegalantcenter.org/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif

Everything that came up though, had dead pictures. Or the link(s) to the tutorials were dead.

Another option is to buy some aftermarket fogs, and use the switch that comes with them.

is there a easy way to just on the fogs without the headlights?

buy a switch. run a power line to the switch. add a fuse in between. and then from the switch run that to the positive terminal of the fogs. the ground to the fogs go anywhere you can ground.

the only downside is that you lose function of the factory switch and the lil light that goees on the cluster when the fogs are on.

another way is to wire up the fogs in parallel to the parking lights so the fogs go on with the parking lights.

but you already know that cuz u did a search and found out its been mentioned <span style='color:red'><span style='font-size:25pt;line-height:100%'>a thousand times</span></span> already

The easiest way is through the fuse box under the hood. Its really simple, once you know the wires to tap. I had the tutorial, but I'll have to look for it when I get home.

Contact member "Onlyphases", he had a thread in this forum's "For Sale" section selling circuit boards to do this. He's a member of my Atlanta based club. I bought one of his boards and it works great. You can turn on you fogs using the factory switch when your park lights are on, and your fog light indicator will also turn on. Here's a link to his thread on my clubs website:
Fog Light Mod boards ('http://www.gatgc.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=765')
You can also check this site's for sale section too.

i believe onlyphases charges $50 for the board you can pay that or go to radio shack and follow this tutorial.

what is the use of the board?

don't b so lazy. read the tutorial then you will know what it does and why it is needed to keep factory functions intact.
