Well, some insight for Mitsu/Evo fans...the US-Spec Evo IX will be debuted at the New York Auto Show in a few weeks. Basically the Evo IX is still down tuned into a 5spd with about 286hp and 295ish torque on the new 2.0L Mivec version of the 4G63...(JDM has 315hp w/6spd)....vortex generators will be on the standard model as well as the new front and rear looks. Black/Smoked housed head & tail lamps...new redesigned Enkies and pretty much everthing else will be the same...RS, IX, MR will be the models listed for the 2006 model year, expect the IX to be on show floors this fall/Winter...it will be a production model debuted at the NYAS....(JSpec IX Shown Below)

**The Evo IX may be our last Evo we see here. With it being heavily down-tuned compared to the Jap and UK versions, sales has been high, but not high enough. Plans for the Evo X has it already being pre-released in 2007, but no talks yet about it hitting the US yet...**
As for the new Galant, it's competition is moving into the sport market (Mazdaspeed 6, Altima SE-R, Camry TRD) leaving Mitsu behind while Honda develops Hybirds, but hopefully the new Ralli-Art version will work out at a 3.8L Mivec with 260hp and a 6 speed manual...recaro-ralliart bucket seats and a new burgandyish pearl color...compared to the concept, this will be slightly less exotic since it is a production model that will be shown at the NYAS....expected release, Spring 2006....
The new 2006 Eclipse will be here on show floors this Memorial day weekend in May. Prices seem to be marketed around $18K-$28k...a Spyder will be debuted this winter and released new spring as an 07...
