here is a concise version for all of you that need it...
1st- the tools you need are: jack, socket set (with 12mm, 14mm, 18mm, and 24mm sockets),a 24mm and an 18mm wrench, impac (air)wrench, hammer, car lift or extra jack (larger one to jack the car up), and a spring compressor (this is mandatory no you don't have any near death experiences).

ok, here is the car on the lift before i started...

http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y37/thebirdman13/install2.jpg

I don't have these steps in here because it's pretty easy to do this and really didn't feel like writing a book on it, but you obviously need to have your hood open, but to get at the rear shock where it is attatched to the car you must remove the rear seats...so that was done before i started...

So, lets get started then...
first put a small jack under your front wheel hub assembly so you don't break anything...
http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y37/thebirdman13/install4.jpg

you will see the red circles in these pics...use your 12mm socket to detach these nuts, as these are very important and you don't want to break them...
http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y37/thebirdman13/install5.jpg
http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y37/thebirdman13/install6.jpg

Next go inside your egine bay and use the 14mm socket to take the nuts off of the strut tower assembly, good thing you have that jack under there or the strut will fall out and bang some stuff up....
http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y37/thebirdman13/install3.jpg

ok, now the easy part is over...get your air wrench ready and put the 24mm socket on and get ready to fight with the damn thing...so now put the 24mm wrench on one side and the 24mm socket and air wrench on the other and loosen that bad noy up...it may not be easy so be patient...these nuts and bolts are marked in blue...
http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y37/thebirdman13/install5.jpg
http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y37/thebirdman13/install6.jpg

now go ahead and use your spring compressor and compress the spring enough and use the 18mm socket and impac wrench and take off the nut on top of the strut, otherwise, the strut will just turn and the nut won't come off...you can now put your new spring on and put the front back together the way you found it... just remember to put EVERYTHING back on...

Now, to the REAR...

since the seats are already out we don't have to worry about that...
so, you'll need the 14mm socket again...locate the shock tower and remove the nuts shown here in red...
http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y37/thebirdman13/install7.jpg

now get the 18mm socket or wrench and put it on the back where there is a bolt to remove, shown here...
http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y37/thebirdman13/install8.jpg

once that is out go ahead and tap the shock off with a hammer, but don't worry it's not going to fly off, just pop down about and inch or two...now take the shock out and repeat the steps with the spring compressor to swap the springs...

and that's all....

and after the install....

This is just what I needed. Is there a big differences I should know about between changing springs and coilovers?

Mine went up but not a whole heck of a lot
I know you have asked this question in many of posts
and I know I have been one of the people that has answered before

it does raise up the car some...maybe an 1/8 of an inch or something like that
It really depends on how bad your stock struts (or current) struts are
and if they are run down as it is, then you will see more of a raise when you install the agx

A.) first you should claim that you are not responsible for any damages, ect, ect, do at your own risk ect, ect, so nothing can come back at you.
2nd) whats the e.t.a. on this project?

2 things when working with a jack.

make sure you work on the car with the car properly supported on jackstands. working on a car with just a lift is a big nono.

make sure your jack goes low enough so that you can pull it out after you lower your car. first time i lowered my car i had to use my scissor jack to raise the car up enough to get the big jack from under the car

ah yes
this is true

Yeah, back when I installed my Progress springs, I realized I wouldn't be able to get the jack out. I had to jack the car back up and put pieces of wood under the front wheels to get the jack out. Now, even with the Tein SS-P Dampers, I have to drive my front wheels up onto some wooden blocks before I can jack up the car.

By the way, is it me, or is the driverside mirror of the birdman13's Galant darker than the rest of the car?

yea it looks a lil bit dark. im guessing its part of his "to be painted" list along with the spoiler and his new fender

Which Springs are the best?? Progress, Tein or Eibach??? And if i drop my car am i more at risk to hit my bumbers and shit. I live in the city and the pot holes and shit is prolly gonna fuck my car up....Do you recommend?

do you have to do an alignment afterwards?

Any time you mess with the suspension it is a good idea to get an alignment.

my mom and uncle are telling me i cant get an alignment with rims becasue there is no room for the machine. wouldnt getting an alignment with my stock rims on defeat the purpose?

Nope. Not true you can still get an alignment with rims and your car lowered, but just remember that you'll need a rear camber kit to get it correct.

how long can you expect those gr2s to last with the drop?

would the agxs last longer?

can you get a softer ride with the agxs over the gr2s?

thanks,
