I have McCulloch HID. 8000K. I highly recommend them. Real easy to install, too. I recommended them to my friend, who has a E500, and they look great in his Mercedes, too. He said he wonders why he didn't do it sooner.

Just do a retro kit.. your output will be 3 times better... and you will not blind people with our cheap chrome housings....
You can get someone to retro your head lights for around 150 - 300
and you can get a retro kit with everything you need for around 450...
Projectors own...

You ever notice those high-end luxury cars with really nice headlights? You know the ones that shine purple/deep blue? Well they do it by using projectors. The projectors make for a super sharp cut off, as well as pretty colors.

The funny thing is, those cars use 4100k bulbs. All the color you see is due to the projectors.

Here are mine:

Theres still too much glare, though thats because i didnt paint the outer reflector housing.

I had the McCoulloughs in my Galant too before the Cibies, no problems and looked nice. Lit up nicely.
