remove red lines from JDM 3rd gen tails?

anyone have pics of the jdm 3rd gen tails with the horozontal red lines removed? i know you can remove them pretty easily in the 2002-2003 USDM tails. is it the same for the 3rd gen?

i removed mine off the 2002 i have,,,,looks a bit cleaner,,but dont the 3g jdm tails have that red line there making that circle???? if u remove it wont u remove the circle with it

all the red lines are is some plastic held on by a clip at the bottom..,...u stick a plier in there (socket)and yank it out,,,its very easy......its just flimsy plastic....its a very subtle mod,,,but makes the tails look a bit cleaner

no. if you had 2002 tails, you would know. there are plastic red lines in there.

whats so bad about removing the red circle also? i dont think the red circle does anything for the reverse except to outline it. the red outline in the 2002 tails do nothing for the reverse

i used my fingers and pulled the plastic out. theyre held in at the top and bottom. they have tabs that are tucked in between the plastic of the tail light and the reflector. a hard yank gets them out.

never said removing the circle was bad,,just most people get 3g jdms because of the styling of em,,if u remove the red line,,,,,u might as well just have bough cheaper 2g jdms..because if u take the red lines and circle off the 3g jdms will most likely look like the older ones

ya, true, but to me, the red on the 3rd gen is brighter than 2nd gen and will look better on a silver G
