Cyber Bumper Installation

I had the Cyber I bumper installed on my car recently. It looks great other then the brace that used to hold the center of my old bumper (behind the original emblem). I was wodering the best way to remove the brace. Any suggestions will help. Thanks.

i think he is talkinga bout how he had a 02-3, and he didnt take off the middle nose part brace thingie. i havent messed with mine yet, but im pretty sure you just cut it off with a saw razor thingie

If your talking about the part that held the nose up, then you can just cut that off, it won't mess up anything on your car. There was a pic that I think Censee had showing it, if I find it, I'll post the link.

guys I think he's talking about the part that the hood latch sits on. Once you get the kit that area is wide open. I dunno about cutting it off unless you have hoodpins. Talk to prophet. I believe he had some thick ass mesh and he painted the mesh black and you really couldn't see it. If all esle fails you could paint it black to blend with your radiator or whatever. but do what you can to avoid cutting it off.

I'm talking about the brace that holds the nose. It also bolts onto the hood latch with one bolt. I figured that i would have to cut it, I was just wondering where the best place to cut it was? I'll try to get a picture asap.

I know this is an old thread but I just found it. I did not like this brace either but did not want to cut it off incase I ever put my factory bumper back on. So I cut a Billet Grill for a Ford Expedition. I just took these pics and you can see the bugs all over my car. Just ignore those,lol. I made this stuff a year ago and the bolts are rusty too. I should had painted them. Oh well, will get some new bolts.

here's a picture of chromegalant cutting off his. you can see where he is cutting. maybe give you an idea of where to cut too
