fog light rewiring

i just rewired my foglights to my parking/turnsignal lights.
my problem now is that when i hit my turn signal the foglight on that side goes weak like my battery is low. do i just need a bigger fuse or what?

the + side of the fog light wire went to the + from the parking lamp.

the ground for the fog lights went to the ground of the parking lamp?

ground the ground to the fogs to the chassis. that should get rid of most of the dimming.

run a wire from the parking light to the trigger on the factory fog relay.

OK, where is the trigger on the factory fog relay? what part of the factory relay will the wire but hooked up to? Which wire from the fog light do i need to wire it from. Sorry for asking for so much. Thank You

the pinout on the factory fog light relay looks like this

1 and 3 are the trigger wires.

4 and 5 are the wires for the fog light's power.

cut 1 and 3.

you won't need the wires of 1 and 3 from the car's side. but you will need them from the relay side so make sure you have enough distance.

1 will be red and 3 will be white.

connect white to ground

and connect red to your parking light.

Thanks for all your help but what I am trying to figure out is, the factory fog light relay (pinout) that is being mentioned is the one inside the fuse box or are you actually talking about behind the fog light itself.

there's only one fog light relay. and thats in the fuse box.

i really suggest you get some help from someone who knows what their doing since you can royally screw up your car if you wire stuff up wrong.

the way i said it. the fog lights will be controlled by the parking lights.

want the fogs turned off. turn off the parking lights.
