4!! Ralliart Seat idea.

I was just thinking.. about putting 4 Racing bucket seats in the ride and getting rid of the back seat cushions.. mine are kinda ugly and need to be replaced anyways.

Since I work in a glass shop , If I were to do this idea , I could use some plexi glass to cover up the spots that are open and maybe put neons threw there to light it up a bit threw the trunk space..

And put carpet over the openings..

front seats need custom brackets, and the gas tank is the rear seat area so there's a hump looking thing.......if you were to just place the racing seats in the back, they might be a little high and look weird....if you dont know what i'm talking about, go and take off the back seat

what about headroom for the rear occupants?

the rear bench sits on a ridge thats about 6 inches higer than the perches for the front seats? wont it also hurt your rear window vision.
i guess you could mount them without any tracks. and mount them directly to the body.
what about putting another center console in the back like the new maxima's have. with cup holders and a armrest w/ storage.

great idea! I'm pretty sure many had thought of this before. The only thing that pops in my head was to strip the back seat and put 2 baby "race" seats. Then you can put 2 kiddos and a big NOS/neon display in the middle. Man, if only I have 2 kids.

Well isnt the eclipse ..of course smaller back there so it wasnt a problem probably fitting them , and it was done custom by a shop I presume.

I have word grain interioer with my vents and lower dash and some of the door parts panted black and the rest is regular tan color..

Should I Get white and black racing seats or.. just black ralliarts.

They actually passed a law for that same type of event in GA this year, and I've already heard of several guys getting pulled and going to jail or ticketed!!

But on the subject of the rear bucket seats, I've been thinking about that same setup for awhile too. And I actually saw a guy with type of set up in a Galant at NOPI last year, accept he used 2 stock seats in the rear. I'll look through my pix and see if I can find it and post it here if I do.
