Arospeed mufflers I heard is mainly good for sound and
their mufflers are very loud but doesn't really increase performance.
But, Magnaflow is good for power and that deep-tone sound.

i'd go for the bomb. if u don't like the sound of it, or want a quiet day, just slap on the silencer and ur str8

Who said that about Arospeed mufflers? 100% of the people here with Arospeed Bomb muffler has said nothing but good things about them and NEVER said they were loud. Go with the bomb. I have one and it's, well, the bomb. It's not LOUD and even if it was, it comes with a removable silencer to quiet it down.

I don't know what type of increase in performce people expect from just changing the muffler (and not the piping) but it's a straight flow-through muffler. Nothing more, nothing less.

I have the street series. It is definately low, and that what I wa going for when I bought it cause I hate buzzy cars. Its not too loud, but its not quiet at all either. Its a clean sound. I agree with them though about the bomb because if they al say its good, I kinda wish that Magnaflow had a silencer for sometimes... I really like my magnaflow, but if a silencer is a option you would like definately go for the other one...

I say Arospeed. I had a magnaflow and litteraly threw it in the garbage.
But if you ask what my choice is,..its AC AutoTechnic. Its just like the Arospeed but shorter and has a true straight thru design for performance the gases go in and out,....take a look here!

I still say that the 5Zigen Fireball is the best exhaust out there..Deep throaty sound, even at idel is sounds agressive, and at WOT, that shit makes Stangs wanna back away..

wussup? my cars growlin with an a'pexi N1 exhaust... it sounds really good! i always get compliments sayin how my car "has a nice tone unlike them lil civics that sound like dirt bikes"... its a nice exhaust and i got some pretty good gains, and they r also available in 5 colors! mines aluminum... but they also have red, black, green, blue and another one... alot of ppl i talk to tell me that in japan they r using the N1 style exhausts... i guess its like the big thing for the next month or 2 lol

just my 2 cents - don't get me wrong....but come on.....
What kind of gains did you het just by putting a muffler? 2hp?
well, if you lukcy you got 4 hp....
the reason i am writting it is so people who don't know will know that mufflers give them as littlle as 2 hp gain....The main purpose of putting a muffler is the sound, for most of you, not for the performance...unless you really are changing your whole exhaust...
so if u look for a sound and perhaps u r planning on getting whole exhaust - go with the muffler, but if you only look for the performance you will probably better off with an intake....
