swap parts for tranny

myself and peano have looked everywhere for 5spd tranny parts..to no avail...does anyone on here have any suggestions as to where i could find the swap parts that i need; i.e, slave,master cylinder???

also look on club 3g, i believe there is an eclipse 5 speed up for sale right now. instead of piecing it together, just try and find yourself a complete tranny from an eclipse. most of the time, especially for 4 cylinder guys, you can find an entire 5 speed setup from a wrecked eclipse, even including the shift knob and boot.

yeah i have a thread posted up on that board stating im lookin to by a 5spd tranny...some dickhead is the only dude that responded with some stupid ass shit...no help..still tryin though

have you tired going to a mitsu dealership for otehr parts besides the tranny cuz where im ata there kinda cheap

no i havent tried the dealership yet..your probably right though i could get some of the parts i need there most likely..ill look into that..

and if you gonna go to the mitsu dealer depending who is behind da counter they wont pull up any parts unless u submit a vin number das wat happend to me so wat i did was i went out side and found a manual 3g and copied down the vin # so bring one just in case.

okay so i just called the mitsu dealer and got some pricing on the slave/master cyl. and a whole brand new tranny(just cause i was curious) still lookin for a used one....

anyways

are these prices really expensive for these parts or is this what i should expect for brand new ones?

i dont know. both a slave and master cost me $65 brand new from nopiOnline. but looking at 3g parts lately for you is leading me to believe all your stuff is twice as expensive as 7g/2g parts.

BTW PLEASE PLEASE MAKE A TUTORIAL. Or at the very least, make some notes on where the V6 tranny swap differs from Peano's tutorial (ie, I know that the flex plate on the V6 has FOUR points instead of 3 like on the 7G I4 ~ little stuff like this will make a HUGE differance fpr future swappers).
