Can anyone break down to me how to take out the radio for the Galant. Everytime I try to take it out it seems like some screw is holdin it in the back.

from what i know there's only 1 screw holding in the radio. its on the bottom of the radio, in the back on the left hand side. but to easier access that screw you gotta drop the HVAC controls down.

Thanks I appreciate that. Just one more ques. When you buy an aftermarket radio, doyou have to buy a kit to put it in or will it just slide right in?

i only needed the wiring kit. the mounting kit i didn't need. i just transferred the factory brackets to the ned radio and mount the new radio like the old one

My install was just like Pinoy's, but it depends on the head unit you get because some can be too long/deep to fit in our dash. You might want to check out www.crutchfield.com to see what fits.
