they should fit fine. i have 19x8.5 +48mm (volk racing [rays engineering] sf-winning gunmetal) 225/35zr19. we got them to fit w/ some surgery to the rear fenders which u may have to do too if you drop your car more than 1.5". those wheels look good!

why would he go 18" when he's allready looking at 19"?

Well,

I already have 19's on my ride.... they are 19x8 with 35 Offset.. So I'm going with 19x8 with a 48 offset because 35Offset is way too much and I even had to get 215/35/19's on them so they could fit right even with rolling the back fenders and all.

These wheels are 19x8.. with a 48 Offset. can somebody tell me if this offset is good on our cars? I'm putting up a pic in case one of you could photoshop my car with these rims...

Also, take a look at my car with my drop. I have Sprint Springs on it...

Anyone think they cn do a quick photoshop so I can see what they look like on my ride....?

Now what I'm thinking about doing is either.. getting them powder coated in bronze with the chrome lip... or powdercoating them to be color matched to my Bodega Beige color with the chrome lip... Whats your opinion on that?

look at my post above... the wheels you want are .5" narrower than mine w/ the same offset and tires so they should fit fine since you allready rolled your rears since i have a deeper drop (at least 2.5"). actually i also have a rear camber kit... w/o it my wheels would rub my struts.

here ya go:

also, body color matched would b dope! i would have color matched but what is the use of that since i have a silver car, LOL.

u will need rear fender flares or a widebody kit or very narow front wheels since we can't really fit wider rims in the rear of our FWD cars. actually if you just want more lip in the rear, AXIS makes wheels that will make it look like you have more lip in the rear:

What are staggered wheels? a popular trend is coming back for both cars and trucks is called "staggered" or "staggering". Staggering wheels involves using wheels of different width and/or diameter on the front and rear of the vehicle for a more stunning or aggressive look. This can also allow for a wider tire on the rear depending on the car. Axis even went a step further with their new Maxis lip, which allows the staggered look on cars that can't take a wider wheel in the rear. Already popular with the Volkswagen, Acura, Honda, Scion and the Audi crowds the Maxis lip is going to bring the staggered look back in a very big way. Before you jump in with both feet and order a set of staggered wheels, there are some things to consider. One is fitment, as not all cars can take a larger wheel and tire combo in back. Even our Maxis Lip needs to have a car with small enough calipers on the rear to fit. Secondly is proper tire rotation. Instead of being able to rotate front to rear and vice-versa, you wil have to rotate left to right, and if your tires are directional, you will have to get them unmounted and re-mounted on the other side. Not impossible, just a little more costly (who said it's easy to be beautiful?).

btw, here is what offset is:

For staggered wheels, what do people do about tire rotation? I'm sure the tires are directionals, so going from right to left is out of the question and going 18" in the back and 19" in the front is obscene. So what does one do about tire wear?

directional tires have to be removed and remounted for rotation and can only go from side to side not front to back. it's a pain in the butt but it's the price you pay for having staggers.

I'm sure you're only referring to the staggered, right? I mean, I always had directionals since upgrading to 18's and have rotated them front to back only. Never going so far as to removing the tire so that they can go side to side.

Hey, are you taking better care of your tires these days since you upgrade to 19's? Those wheels are sweet. I was quite surprised and glad that you got rid of those Konigs.

yeah directional tires on staggered fitament have to b unmounted then swapped and remounted from side to side to rotate them. actually even non-directional tires on a staggered setup should b rotated like this to avoid uneven wear on the inside or outside, unless of course they can only b mounted w/ a certain side facing out like yokohama parada spec2's.

o and yeah, i am taking EXTRA good care of my new tires and wheels since they cost almost $4000.00, i am even using 20 wheel locks instead of lugnuts. o and as for my old konigs... this is what happened to them:
