Removing reflector J-dome thingy in headlights

Anyone done this, rode around without the lil dome reflector dealy that comes in our headlights? Is it too bright to ride around without it?

i hate it. my light output is brighter but it isn't focused so its just random light spread out.

i don't recommend it at all.

the thing is. to me. its brighter than when it was on. but the actual distance of the beam is shorter than when i had the reflector on.

i took mine off,,,made the lights alot brighter......heres a pic with 8000k HIDs
