I spent all this time trying to cut out some plexiglass (my first experience with plexiglass) and after all that its crooked damnit!

it fits the glovebox perfect, not a single problem there, i just cut the lcd square crooked, maybe I can find a shroud of some sort and straighten that up.

how did you end up cutting it crooked though?

i mean, if you traced it out then it shouldn't of been too much of a problem, and what did you use to cut it?


next time you cut, try having a large straight edge alond the lines (if using a blade type cutter) so you don't stray outside of the lines, but if you stray inside, it'll be ok because you'll be cutting that piece out anyways....

i used a dremel tool with a straight edger alignment tool but I didnt have the pencil tool, so i had to hold the dremel at an angle to cut with the disc so i got crooked without realizing. Not too big a deal, wont be hard to fix... oh and that paint? its definately gonna go, it was just a quick finish to put on there until i decide what paint to use on it. I need some glazing putty anyways.
