double DIN in 8g

anyone have a double din unit in their car? i was wondering if you needed to do some filler work on the top after cutting one of the horizontal bars out. or does a double din fit perfectly in the 2 DINs? for the ones that put their double din in the top 2, did u do anything extra to support the unit up so high?

I believe it fits perfect if you just remove the case under the stereo. That will double the hole and make it 2DIN size!
