MY sun roof wont go back shut, still working in reverse

today my sun roof wouldnt go forward so i pushed back and it went all the way back, im guessing its a problem in the switch. easy to fix but i need to get where by where the top lights are. So how do i remove the top lights to see into the ceiling. Im really pissed off right now any suggestions. I dont think its the stock mitsubishi one. but the control is intbetween the sunroof and windshield on the ceiling

yours is next to break, mine did the same. Pretty soon part of the control arm knuckle will break off and jam it.

basically start removin parts till u can force it shut

not that I know of, if you know/have a mechanic that wont charge u for jus takin a look at it, do it ASAP and maybe he can save it.

Dont do that, doing that was a 1k mistake for me during the middle of winter. had to spend about a month with a trashbag duct taped to the roof cause i forced to much and the glass was only attached at one point.

yea im not guna force it, im guna take it to a good shop, then a place that does sunroofs.
