CHrome door handles. opinions..

SO I bought these Chrome Door Handle covers at an impulse buy.

Didn't know if i wanted to put them on or not just bought them to say i was one of the firsts here on tgc to get them. now im thinking about the different options for putting them on, if i should even consider putting them on

Upper only?

if you have a pic of the handles on, but farther away to see how it compliments the chrome trim around the window to see.

But besides that, if I was going to put those on mine, I'd go with lower only because it would "match" the keyhole.

i saw a set on ebay like yesterday and was thinking bout getting them. they were like 25-30 somewhere in between there i dont remember.

i say neither. but if you had larger pics from further away and could see the chrome trim it might sway my opinion.

I'd say netiher and shave the handles!!!! But if you are gonna put em on, id put both on. yeah 3m tape. If you install them use a blow drier on them with the tape it heats them up some and makes them stick better. I install those alto lately. I dont like on cars , BUt yersterday I put some one a Ford Explorer and really liked the look of them I liked them better with just tops on that truck. But the owner wanted both on.

they're metal. and they attach with 3m tape. im kinda having second doubts aobut them now. the guys came over and we talked about it and if you want i'll sell them to you for 30 bucks. about the same price you'll pay if you get them from ebay. i only took out those 2 pieces from the plastic baggies to take the pics. but yea 30 bucks and they'll be shipped to you from maryland instead of waiting for them to come in from hong kong.

I think they would work alot better if you had chrome rims, but if you do install them, I would do just the bottom part or both. Just having the top part looks wierd.

On another note, the clear coat on my passanger side handles are all faded like crazy and the paint looks like crap. Plus all 4 of them have nicks and scrathes in them from car doors hitting them and stuff. I might buy a set of these covers and paint them black.

i say NAY.....i dont think it goes very well with ure car...ure car is clean,sleek and black and those handles would just ruin it...they stand out too much if u ask me..even if they were jdm i would still say NAY
