does the oil cap have to be red? i've seen cheap ebay oil caps in red go to pink after a couple of months.

I'd say splurge for a real Ralliart one from Japan, prolly cost 50-60 bucks, but it wont destroy your engine or look like crap.

i was scared about my oil cap falling apart too. before the oil cap came in i obught a tube of threadlocker to make sure it would'nt fall apart. but when i tried to take it apart to put the threadlocker, the screws holding it together wouldn't budge so i just left it be.

i bought one of those, and it somehow dissapeared one day when i lifted the hood.......oil all over the bottom of my hood, and about 2 quarts short

open hood
remove oil cap
replace galant with honda missing an oil cap.
screw new oil cap in.
