Blacking out my Spoiler Tail Light
Materials:
Philips head screwdriver (stubby)
1 Can Nite-Shade spray tint
Time: 2 hours for spraying, 4 hours to allow setting, 10 minutes removal/install.
Instructions:
1) Remove 2 philips head screws on bottom of spoiler led bar
2) Unclip the wire connector (carefully not to let it fall into the spoiler
3) Spray Nite-Shade to cover red led lense, wait 30 minutes between coats. You can also test this before installing by simply hooking up the wires and testing the pedal, this way you can get it to the perfect darkness
4) Reinstall and enjoy!
Cost: $14.49
Removing GALANT on trunk garnish
Materials:
20lb test fishline
Goo Gone
Time: 15 Minutes
Cost: $3.00
Instructions:
1) Using the fishline, slide behind GALANT lettering to cut the 3M adhesive
2) Use GooGone to remove excess 3M adhesive
3) Wax to protect area.
Black/Chrome Emblems
Application: For those who have a chrome/red emblems on the front and back.
Materials:
1 can gloss black spray paint
Crazy Glue
Dremel if you want this to go faster
20lb test fishline
Time: 30 Minutes prep 4 hours painting and drying (Per emblem)
Cost: $4.99
Instructions:
Front:
1) Remove front Grill
2) Using the dremel, sand down the little tabs holding in the Front Emblem
3) Cut the red tabs holding in the individual red diamonds
4) Spray paint the diamonds black, let dry
5) Crazy Glue the now black diamonds in place
6) Crazy Glue the entire emblem back in the grill
Rear:
1) Using the fishline, cut around the 3M adhesive on the rear emblem
2) With needle nose pliars, squeeze the tabs holding the emblem into the trunk.
3) Remove emblem
4) Using the dremel, sand down the red tabs on the back of the emblem, they will come loose.
5) Spray paint the diamonds black, let dry
6) Crazy Glue the now black diamonds in place
7) Apply 3M adhesive to the back of the emblem
8) Place back in stock location.

Uhm...my trunk job with the black carpet and MDF cost me more than $20 but I probably only used about $20 worth of the materials in the end.

I spent more than $20 to paint my interior.
Cleared/colored gauge needles - $1 (for nail polish)
Colored hoses for Engine bay - $19.99 from auto zone.
The intake mod - free
