View Full Version : CAI Intake Temps anyone?

Does anyone know what kind of temps their seeing with their CAI? My intake temp is around 90*F, while ambient temp is around 60*F.

when i had my intake temperature sensor gauge hooked up, i was seeing about 90*F while driving, but it would spike to over 120*F if you let it sit idling for too long.

Interesting - the last reading I took from my scanner, I got about 95F (unknown ambient temperature), with a maximum of 145F with my short ram (WAI).

That sounds pretty high. It wierd, upon start up this morning my temps were around 77*F, while Ambient temp was atleast 90.

Directly from the ECU using a data logger/scanner.

i had an air temperature gauge from nordskog designed to read air flow temperatures, for intakes or charge pipes. i still have to get it hooked up to my charge pipes right now

Wait, hey Jet Black, did you install a CAI or are you still using the flip-box mod?
