just wondering if anyone's replaced the 2 plastic grille peaces with anything else, and left the "nose." thanks

there were a few members that cut out the slats in the grille and filled it in with mesh. thats an idea.

do you think it would be possible to dremel that out? or would i need to use somthing more heavy duty?

dremel is powerful enough. you can use a hand saw if you don't want to be high tech.

There's a thread somewhere on here about how to do it. Do a search on it and it should come up. Even if you can't find it, that's a pretty easy job, all you do is cut out the bars in the middle of the grills, fill in the gaps with some bondo or equivalent, prime, paint them, and you got it done! Good luck now. :wink:

lol yo our cars are almost identical....how did you make the grill? just cut out the slats, paint, and put the mesh behind?

yeah cut out the slats, a lil fiberglass to fill in the huge holes from the slats, and mesh behind it. I actually have to re-do it because the grill is really flimsy after cutting the slats and mine cracked shortly after installing them. I guess the glass just did not stick as good as I thought it did.
