Someone on here said they put a CAI off of a V6 eclipse on their I4 galant. I also heard that a CAI off of a V6 eclipse fits on a V6 galant so will the intake off of a V6 galant fit on a I4 galant? I think I may have confused myself with that one.

funny i am wondering the same thing .. whether a 2002 galant's I4 stock intake will fit my 2000 I4.. urs i think its should..

no, to my knowledge i4 goes to i4, and V6 goes to V6, and i4 /= V6

but someone please correct me if i'm wrong. lol

first of all it will physically fit. the thing that might be different would be the mounts.

if the brand has the same application for the i4 and v6. duh. thats a no brainer. it fits.

but if the brand has a seperate application for the i4 and v6 then securing(mounting) the intake would be the issue. maybe modify the mounts, custom brackets. whatever you can think of.

yes but it has to be a CAI from a Eclispe GS or RS.

the i4 3g's were only the GS and RS. the other 2 trim levels, the GT and GTS were v6's
