I did a search and couldn't find anything about this topic. Anyway, I just recevied my used JDM headlights and the first thing I noticed was there was a 4th bulb just underneath the H7 (low beam) bulb. It seems to be in good condition complete with all the wirings.

Just to avoid confusion:
Bulb 1 - turn signal
Bulb 2 - H1 (high beam)
Bulb 3 - H7 (low beam)
Bulb 4 - What is this for? Is it to add some colored tint or something? How should it be turned on? Is it during low beam or high beam?

Has anyone used this 4th bulb at all?

Thanks,

SleekGTZ

its the city light. i'd hook it up like a daytime running light.

it's a courtesy light. like a daytime running light. it's not that bright. Mine is like a regulat bulb but they come in different colors. Kevin (8GGalant) got his and they were purple. But that's just what it's fore. you can hook it up if you want but if you have our heads on you wont see it

Wow! You guys reply so fast!

Thanks for the info. This is actually very interesting.

The oven is now set to 250 degrees, yes, I'm clearing the corners now... https://www.thegalantcenter.org/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif

ok, the amber corner stuff are removed. this oven method thingy was easier than i expected.

although i made a mistake on the first one, after removing the amber plastic, i forgot to put the screw back, thus there was a rattle sound of the reflector after i have sealed it up. anyway, lessons were learned so the second headlight was no problem and then i had to redo the first one again to put the screw back on.

everything is now a-ok! https://www.thegalantcenter.org/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif
