will this fit

I am looking at buying this muffler for my galant. I think it is going to look really clean but the problem is there is no specs for it so I dont know how big the tip is going to be. I dont wanna get it then find out that the tip doesnt fit. Any input would be nice, other wise ill just order it and if it doesnt fit ill sell it or somthing....

That muffler is a Ractive muffler and the tip on that muffler looks exactly like the Ractive tip that I have, which is 6" wide, but I have the JDM Galant VR-M rear bumper which has a much bigger opening for the tip. On the stock USDM rear bumper the opening will be too small for that kind of tip. The only way that the tip of that muffler will fit is if you let the muffler hang down a little, but that won't look right in my opinion.

I found some specs on the muffler wich is the Ractive MT600. Click here ('http://www.carmedia1.com/en-us/dept_353.html') and go down about half way. It says the outlet diameter is 7", so that is definitely too wide for the stock opening. The price on that site is $109, but I think you can still get it cheaper.

this one from this site is only 4 1/2 inches wide and that is going to fit really nice in the stock hole.... I think it should be fine I hope.....

I think somebody is reading the specs wrong. The length of the canister on the Ractive MT600 is 15", the width is 8.5", and the height is 4.5". So, that is the part without the tip, with the tip the length is 24"... making the tip 9" long. Compare the width of the canister at 8.5" to the tip. The tip is only a little less wide, so it would make sense for the tip to be 7" wide as opposed to 4.5". Plus, if the length of the tip is 9", it would again make sense that the tip is 7" wide. I could be wrong about the size of the tip, but that site I posted says it's 7" wide and I've seen a bunch of sites that say the height of the canister is 4.5", so I think someone might be confusing the height of the canister with the width of the tip.

Also does anyone know if I can get a muffler like this with a smaller tip like a 4.5?? i really like it But i would like it more if I can find one that fits.....
