As titled, and are gs models, are the engines/set-ups identical?

i belive the 6th gen galant matches up with the 1st gen eclipse(/talon?)

yeah I believe so. Same engines but the chassis Im not exactly sure. I got a 92 eclipse and I just always figured it was the same guts as the galant ... only thing might be diff would be the suspension If I had to guess

They're the same basically. Both the 1G 90-94 Eclipse GS and the 6G 89-93 Galant GS both use the 4G63 DOHC non-turbo.

but i have one question, i know dat da 1g eclipse gs matches 6g galant gs, but i would like to know if it goes da same for the 6g galant ls

well the 6th gen Galants came with Quite a few different motors from 1.6L, 1.8L dohc and 2.0L and of course everyones favorite the 4g63T Vr4 awd
