Racing Seats????????????

Does anyone have racing seats in their 8G?????? If you do, can you post pics??? What brand??? and what kind of mounting brackets did you use????

I got mine done. I dont have pics but I will post them up on Saturday.

I got Sparco Milano 2 in Alcantara Beige with black 4 pin safety belts.

I used the stock brackets and sliders. :wink: Very easy to do.

i was thinkin about gettin some cheap-o racing seats from the bay but I heard there may be safety precautions in going that route.. stock seats suck but if my general overall wellbeing is in danger i guess it isnt worth it

see thats what im talking about, what did you have to do to make them EVO seats fit????? I bought the EVO seats, they didnt fit, I sold them the week after........

buy custom sliders and brackets, you'd have to replace the old ones to get them to fit.

I dont have pics right now. I can try to get them if you'd like. i got black n gret 3a racing seats from pep boys i think it was. Comfy. I had to take off the bottom racks of the oem seats and make a cross bracket under the racing seat for the stock rack to bolt on. then i used spacers to level the seats out because they're pretty low, and bolted the harness under the spacers. fits pretty good. rubs a little on the side plastic pieces when you go back far enough tho.

Use the stock seat mount, weld some brackets onto the seat then onto the stock mount. Then you can use the stock sliders.
