As far as I know theres no other place you can get a usdm fitted VR4 lip kit. The JDM versions are available. As far as your paint code Your 3 digit paint code (always starts with a letter) can be

How long ago was it when you last contacted them? I and a couple other folks called them about 3 months ago and they said they had a few VR4 kits in-stock for around $650. I never order one because they never posted any pictures of it on their website, and I didn't want to assume what it actually looked like. They did have a small picture of the from of the kit in a magazine ad, but it was shown on a JDM Galant. You might want to give them a call and see what's up.

the VIS version is jdm fit so you are gonna shell out alot more money to get the lips fitted. if you want to go through that process then go ahead and get them.

i remember back in 01-02 when chris first got his, he said 500 for the kit and another 500 to get it on the car. or was it 6. but yea. something like that.

Skillz you made your kit look way better than most other g's with that it.. i think you made it fit your car alot better then most have done it LOL looks super clean.. nice look.. and your carbon fiber addons give it that extra punch I like that alot...

And redgalant1, I've called VIS several times in the past months. Sometimes they say it's a full kit or times they say it's a lip so that kinda worries me a bit, since it seems no one know for sure an changes everytime you talk to somebody. Also it seems that they would've posted a pic on their website by now, considering how big this company is and we all know it don't take long to post a pic. I really think it's a lip versus a full bumper due to it's price. But I guess we are all waiting on someone to be the 1st to get one.

If someone can get pics of the Vis VR4 kit, wether it be a lip kit or a full front, i'd be interested in buying a kit as well if its USDM fit.

I've been working with BoostedGalant on getting me a kit, but it's taking him awhile. Wonder if he's trying to work with Vis on getting the kit?

And fuk erac1ngs....those bastards still have my $50 deposit for that bogus VR4 lip kit GB from last year and disappeared off the face of the planet...anybody else get screwed on that one?

Anyways...another thought is if we can get confimation on the type of kit and some pics... maybe we can get a Group Buy going for this. There seems to be some interest.

I guess this could be one way to test them out, cause if they screw anybody over ebay can seize there Paypal account, provided they have anything in it.

Thanks for the heads up Rod. Hated you had to go through all that trouble with a shady company like that, and it didn't pay off for us. But you must you did have one of the hottest Galant here, before strippin her down. You should ride over there and kick his ass one time for us, or get some hired goons to do it. Let's just hope we get some good news from VIS soon, so those that want this kit can actually get it this time.

So with all that said and done and the warnings from various members about Aeroflex a.k.a Eraca1ng, are you gonna risk it? If so let me know, and I'll see how it goes for you before i decide what I'm going to do. Looks like a 1.5-2 weeks waiting time before you can start taking other action against them if they try to screw you. Not that bad of a turn around time, I don't think they could disappear in that amount of time.

I'm not sure how the refund policy works with Paypal, even though I have an account with them too. I know some sellers have it setup where you can pay a little extra and you get you money back pretty fast if something goes wrong, like you don't recieve your items or your items are damaged. But in general, I think Paypal has it set up that if you don't get what you pay for, they give the seller a grace period of several weeks to make good on their commitment, I believe it's 30 days. After that, then they start on there end, which could take God knows how long to resolve, but you ultimately get your money back. I think the best way to go about it, since this company doesn't take credit cards, is to link your Paypal account to an unsecured credit card, especially one like Capital One or Discover. These companies usually take immediate action if you have a dispute with a company about a transaction, since your actually using their money until you pay them. The bad thing is that they will pull the money from Paypal since they are acting as the "middle man" on these deals, but this will light a fire under Paypal to resolve the problem cause like any biz they don't want to loose any money.

*EDIT*
You might also want to contact Paypal and find out how you would get a refund on an item before you proceed. I just checked their site, and their policies outline the process for getting a refund on purchases made from "ebay", but I couldn't find anything on getting a refund on a purchase that wasn't listed on ebay. So it might get a bit "muddy" in that area to get your money back. I know this company has several listing on ebay right now, so that might work in your favor. To be safe, I'd have them list the kit on ebay, and you purchase from there. That way you would have a greater chance of getting your refund without too much problem.

okay just got off the phone with VIS the vr4 kit is infact a full kit
bumper, sides and rear, and will run 705 shipped from cali to me in NYC
they have no pics of it as it is a new kit that they are now selling
they told me to check out pics of it on another site

I don't know what VIS is trying to pull, cause that kit ain't that new to them. I called them about it back in May/June and they haven't had time to take a few simple pix and post them to their website? Sounds like they are just plain lazy!! (Hell even old retired grandparents can take pics with an old 35mm cam, go to Wal-Mart and have them developed to a disc, and posted on the net faster than that!!) And considering they want you to give up $705 for something you ain't even seen, is pretty bold of them. On top of the fact of telling you to go look at it somewhere else, and buy it here. That's customer service for you. If I were you, if your going to get the kit from them, once you get it and have it installed contact them again and offer to sell them pix of it on your car for about $200 or at least the price of shipping.

I'm not trying to discourage you from getting their kit, cause if they actually have it, it's one of the baddest kits out there. I'm just saying if you decide to go through them, make sure to make it worth your while, and try to get something for all your trouble. Cause once it's on, looks good, and people know you got it from VIS, that'll be more money it their pocket on your work.

When I talked to them before, they did send the ad they used in mags which is the same picture Jay posted. He said they didn't have a pic of the actual one since no one had bought it and sent pictures of if installed.

VIS is one of the very few companies I would hand over my money and know I would get what I ordered.

Well Frank, since your a man who knows his biz, if no one else steps up by the end of the month, I will probably test the waters with VIS on this kit. I've been wanting it for awhile and if the other company that had the lip kit is too shady for me. I don't know if it's good news to hear that it's a full bumper versus a lip, we'll have to see. But this lit will be a much cheaper alternative to what I was going to do. (won't even get into it, just incase I go back with that idea) So hopefully the guy you talked to there, is up on his facts, so I'll get what I want.
