Im looking at the Enkei DM5's Discount Tire says they fit but they hav a 38mm offset? will that work and also can someone give me the offset range for 18x7.5/8 and a 19x7.5/8. ALl help will be accepted. please no pointless comments

At the stock ride height, +38mm offset will be alright, but when/if you lower the car, you will more than likely rub the inner lips of the rear fenders. If you get those lips rolled or cut off, you shouldn't have any problems. The stock offset is +46mm, so staying close to that is best.

So 18" x 7.5/8 with an offset close to +46 will not rub even if you are lowered? I am lowered on Progress with AGX's and I am looking at rims too either 18/19's.

Lone star I am not Hyjacking your thread, just asking a question that you may benefiot from as well.

Yeah, you shouldn't have any problems assuming you get the right sized tires. 225/40 for 18s and 225/35 for 19s. If you go any bigger, not only will your speedo be off a bit, but you'll have a chance of rubbing.

what does 7.5/8 mean? do you mean 7.5?

I am talking about the width of the rim, 7.5"/8" wide.. Thanks Danj. I am thinking about 18x8 with maybe a 43 offset or so, from what you say this should work fine. BTW the speedo is already off since I changed the gauges.

dont worry about it, its a learning experience for all of us ( probably sound gay) but anyway i saw this white galant somewhere on this forum and it was white with the Enkei DM5's im taling about it had gen. 3 taillights and it was lowered. I was wondering if it was with the fenders rolled also
