JDM folding mirrors

Ok so i got my set, they are white though. I wanted to know if the part that is painted can be easily removed from the mirrors? Has anyone taken apart their JDM folding mirrors? oh yeah mine are power folding.

yeah he is, he just wants to know how to take it apart to paint the part that needs to be painted....

why dont you just mask it off and paint it Rich?

yeah I can get that done but they want 60 a piece and these guys do really good work. I just like taking things apart its in my nature but with something like this i could end up making a mistake and messing them up.
