how to avoid damaging my MAF from a new intake?

will a new intake gave too much air to your engine and cause Ping and knock? new intake can damage your car?[/b]

the only way a intake can damage your car is if you donr secure it right and leave it hanging. it will crack your intake manifold. other then that its all good.

Dont remove any of the honeycombs in the MAF and you will be ok.

some of the bolts that hold the upper airbox to the MAS can be stubbon. just be careful and make sure the socket you use doesn't slip and damage the honeycomb. also be gentle with the wiring that commects to the MAS.
