does anyone know about motor mounts or engine bracing for the 8G? i have looked every where and cant find anything.

You can get prothane inserts for the 3g eclipse I believe. I have never heard of engine braces, wouldnt think that would be too healthy of a choice...

i've seen high pressure struts that dampen the motors rotation. (thewy are pretty small.
one side bolts to the motor, the other to the chassis/ body.
drifters use em alot. seen em on a few silvia's
they are pretty much universal
but i wouldn't know where to look.
if you are thinking about solid engine bracing might as well have a machine shope make you some solid mounts.
but i wouldn't recomend it

yeah, i've heard of the struts for the engine, i just cant find a site or a shop with them.

try searching for engine dampers. thats what you're looking for. theres no bol t on kit for our platform so you'll have to buy a universal damper or one for another car and diy

why? the engine is mounted in rubber for a reason.
