I was reading where the Mopar ATF+4 fluid starting 9/1/2005 chyrsler is releasing the chemical formula rights to its ATF+4 so basicaly it can be made by other parties. This; just like the diamondstar SPIII has only been available by OEM service dealers from its beginning. The mitsubishi fluid was mentioned as one of those that was a guarded formula and that there might be chance for it to be released if enough pressure was put on the company. Which was the case with with chrysler and there mopar+4. The SPIII formula is used with hyundai and Kia as well, so there might be some hope soon that we can find our SPIII at the local auto parts store and even wal-mart :shock:
