What's up with these? Are they the same as our headlights, direct swap, or is there other stuff required? I have the chrome housing headlights, but I'd like the black housing -- they go better with my car.

those aren't really jdm though. same as the v2 8th gen usdm lights with the corners cleared.

yeah they are pretty much the exact same as the stock headlights, but with the silver reflector instead of the amber.

if you look at them they are the JDM housing so installation will be the same as the JDM heads... they aren't just the stock black housed heads... they are custom fabbed and then produced

Sorry, that is incorrect, as there is another member on the boards who has installed them, and they are USDM fitment.

Besides, what makes you think the housing is JDM? The USDM also has that top tab, but the JDM would also have tabs for the grill, which those are apparently missing.

they must have changed them then, when those first came on ebay i emailed the seller asking what was JDM about them... he sent me detailed pics and they were actually the JDM head mold...

i know i saw some actual jdm heads on ebay about 6 months ago that i didn't buy because of that, but i just bought these black diamond ones about 2 months ago, and they are the exact same as my stock 2002 headlights, with the exception of the reflector. you can even use the same mounting bolts, no gaps between the bumper or grill.

i'm sure you can find it elsewhere, the actual jdm lights have dual beams, while these black diamonds are single.
