ok i was just wondering can i get my car tuned by the dyno without having a SAFAC and stuff? because im getting the CMF header from Club3g soon and i want ot make sure my system is all good after install.

You can put it on the dyno to get some numbers, but they cannot tune without a standalone or some kind of piggyback device a.k.a. SAFC

ok well guess tha header is gonna be sitting around for a while, lol gotta round up some money to get a safac, i kno they run cheap on ebay. thanks alot though

You do not need an SAFC to run a header :roll:

go ahead and install the header you wil see gains. what seth is saying is you won't be able to tune your air/ fuel mix on a dyno with out som,e way to make fuel adjustments(safc2)
you will see gains over your restrictivce stock header. whne you install the new one.
down the road when you get your safc2 then go to the dyno and see how much more power you can squeeze out

ok well i got that part but, if the header isnt tuned wont my car run too rich or wha? ok i guess wha im tryin to ask is, tuning is for getting the max performance?

tuning is for when you alter the engine's performance significantly and your ECU is in no way capable of dealing with the drastic changes. until you get a turbo or supercharger, or change the internals, you generally wont need to tune the car.

that's why its called a bolt-on
