Now I'm not a stupid person, and I dont claim to be anything close to a mechanic, but I can normally do things like replacing a bulb in my taillight. My 2K Gal has what appears to be just 4 nuts holding the tailight assembly in place. After removing these 4 nuts, nothing budges, not even a friggin millimeter. I even tried to gently remove it with a screwdriver, but no luck... What the hell am I missing? Thanks for your help..Fred

if you are sure that you removed the nuts that hold the taillight in, ball up your fist and give the taillight a light punch. keyword light. i am not responsible if you hit too hard and break the tail.

then after the punch, the tail should just come out.

oh yea, this is the back of the tail. shows you which nuts you have to take out. and their locations

There are only 3 nuts, so I don't know what that fourth one is that you took off. Assuming 3 of the nuts you took off are the right ones, try taking a rubber mallet or something and hit one of the bolts that are sticking through from the light.

at the bottum of the tail light somewhere around the side of ether fender is a little button type thing you have to push on that and it will come right out

Thanks---that did it. some "gentle" persuasion from a regular hammer (didnt have a rubber mallet) did the trick...
