So I got my SBR clutch line today, bled it for a bit and took it out for a test drive. First time using my sticky pod too. After the first pull I noticed I left my phone on my roof and it flew off so I pulled over and picked it up lol. Clutch is still not disengaging properly, need to bleed it some more and check my mounts.

Your probably encoding them with a codec that nobody else has. Dont use quicktime, just convert it to mpg or wmv with Windows movie maker

Yah, easy program to use. You encoded that video with DIVX which doesnt come with Windows. "Most" people have DIVX though. If it plays just the audio and no video, that means you dont have the right codec to veiw the movie.

Now, back to the movies...

Yup its sticking to my painted drywall ceilling. I stuck it on my window in my truck cabin while I was at work. It held sturdy there for a good 4+ hours!

It got stuck on my car so good it was hard to get off. You just have to put your fingernails under the cups and pull up to break the seal, but sometimes its hard to get off https://www.thegalantcenter.org/style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif

Great product, although its not much to it, if I could find these suction cups I would make my own!

Why is your tach not moving?

I make so much power the tach cannot keep up fast enough so it does not even try..

No not really. During my swap I bypassed some of the stock wiring from the ECU to the coilpack/power transistor. In doing so I bypassed the stock tach wire that spliced off to the tach. Just need to stop being lazy and fine the stock tach wire and solder it to my wiring.

Speaking of racing from a dig, has anyone done traction drags, where you go out and race from a dig when its wet, the goal is to see who can drive to get the best traction. Its kinda fun since its mostly up to the driver instead of a hp contest.

Learned how to drive stick 5 days before and was just letting off the throttle so I wouldn't roast 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. In that same run, I believe I blew a few pistons :D You can see the oil smoke and piston chunks fly out my grapefruit launcher. That was the day my original engine build got fucked.

Did you say you replaced it too? I actually think it sounds pretty decent, more of a deep rumble than the higher pitched rasp I recall your silencer making.

Id like to squeeze a little more like 10psi, but im afraid of the head gasket going. I have no idea if it ever has been changed. Ill change it, but that will happen when I put the DOHC head on, and until then 5 psi. And Id like to switch to the smaller turbo housing, cuz the one that i have makes the turbo spool at 3500 and i want to make power earlier - 2000 to 3000 rpms

The smaller the number is the faster the spool up will be at lower RPMs, the higher the number is - turbo will spool up at higher RPMs. Now with that said, if i put a 14b cartridge on 0.98 housing /although i doubt it will fit/ it will still spool at 8-10k RPMs. And if I put a 70 trim turbo on a 6cm housing it will spool at 2500 RPMs, because the housing is designed to rush more exhaust gases thru the fins and make it spin faster.

The cold side of the turbo has number too, identical to the exhaust numbers. For the cold side these numbers mean the turbo will be out of its power range and CFMs it supports /runs out of boost/. a 14b which has a number of 0.42 I think and will make that much boost at these RPMs before the map starts going down /it ran out of air/

i do get it, but u never mentioned the exhaust housing number.. i know its larger and i know bow they work.. like i know the 14b on my car will run out of air up top as it can only flow so much before it chokes itself 405 cfm to be exact and i know that the larger housing slows spool, but i didnt think that it would be that great of a difference as it is still a 16g.. it must really struggle to pressurize the exhaust housing as its still a higher compression motor and a relatively small turbo

this was the 1st run retuning the car from 110 leaded race gas to e85... that run was 414hp (low reading mustnag dyno) after about 10 more runs made 440... 1000cc injectors maxed out. For the hell of it last week dynoed on a dynojet and ended up at 492whp... btw on 110 the car made 523 (dynojet). Thats a super conservative tune only on 21lbs.
