for those who have jdm headlights, how did you guys manage to cut the radiator support? i thought about getting a bowcutter to do the job.

i dont think you have to cut it, i've seen it done here at my house with a hammer.(GalantKev99) when he was installing his JDM grill and headlights.

honestly it's not worth it to do the conversion because of later problems that might occur. but if you have to do it I think Kevin did his with a rotozip. anything that can cut steel basically

LOL What problems specifically? If something breaks, you fix it. Cars break, shit happens. Its still worth it. :)

I used a dremel. Cut it like butter.

I used a dremel also, didnt take that long at all. Just make sure you sand and coat the parts you cut so it doesnt rust. Its worth the risk to have jdm headlights. so much nicer lookin than the usdm headlights.

its time consuming if you wanna cut right and not screw stuff up

rotozip w/ cutting wheel. i was the first to convert to JDM headlights on the USDM back in early 2000 and i haven't had any issues w/ my conversion almost 9 years later. just remember to cut a little at a time... it's easier to slowly keep trimming material and test fitting, than it is to add steel back.

Also make sure you dont run away with the rotozip or dremel and take out the radiator or A/c condenser, like Reelax said, keep trimming and test fitting, be patient.
