i finally got a good deal on JDM headlights and when i goto my shop they tell me it may compromise the safety of the vehicle by cutting the radiator support (i showed him the instructions from this site) and it would cost a couple of hundred in labor. so im just gonna go with the american jdm headlights

yeah man dont give up
my shop said the same thing about the kit, I got. They said we just replaced your radiator support with a new one and now you want it cut up. they said it wouldnt look good and this and that. And my car ended up getting done at another shop, by the kid that was working on my car at the body shop that the car was at. And the people at the body shop when they saw the car after it was done said  it came out really good, much better then they thought it was going to

yep those black diamonds. im afraid that my park lights wont be that bright due to the absence of a reflector behind the bulb but i guess ill see.

Your parking/blinker light will still be plenty bright without the reflector. There should still be the mirror behind the bulb that will reflect out. I cleared my stocks and put LED's in and they're fine.
