View Full Version : is it common for the struts to go bad

ok guys i have 82,300 miles on my car here is the problem if my car is hot and in r or d u have ur foot on the brake and u turn the steering wheel to the left and right is makes a popping and grunt sound the dealer said it was my struts and strut mounts ok well not for sure if it is that
just had the sway bars replaced and the right tie rods replaced for the third time ball joint and control arm are fine now i am pissed and dont know what it is helpppppppp!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

sure, my struts went out around 35k of hard driving.

Shocks and strut could even go out at 10,000 miles.
