Hey, I changed out my rear drum brake linnings(shoes) about a month ago and now when I jack up the rear of my car and try to spin the wheels with my hands, I can hear and feel the linnings(shoes) are rubbing against the drum. I have already had the drums machined at Checker and I also adjusted the "star" adjusting nut for the linnings(shoes) upon install. Is it normal for the rear brakes to rub a little bit or is there a problem with the brakes?

a small amount of drag is normal.

SMALL. you should still be able to turn the wheel.

Hey after a while the part that is dragging will wear away.

all brakes pads or shoes will rub against disc or drum its normal
put as stated you should still be able to turn wheel
If they didnt stay in contact you would be loosing braking distance waiting for the pad or shoes to contact
