Scroll halfway down for the article.

It's not clear if the Galant RalliArt will benefit from the mid-way facelift the Galant is due for in FALL of 2006...

Great news either way!!! 8)

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE</div><div class='quotemain'>Could the Gallant Ralliart be a sign of things to come? There's a strong possibility, based on Mitsubishi's SEMA newser, where it rolled out two more concepts wearing the performance brand's badge. one thing in that article that made me think they will fuck it up, "the final version" in "spring 2006" you know that means trouble for a good idea.

About time give the people what they want. I hate it when anything from Japan comes to the US they dumb it down. They do the same shit to video games.

Could someone photochop the Concept X or Eclipse RalliArt gaping mouth grille onto the Galant RalliArt?
I think that is what the production version might get...

I just happened to stumble on the Mitsubishi 380, which is the replacement for the Galant in Australia and New Zealand.

The new Raliart Galant is most likely going to resemble this.

I heard that too. It would have been cool to have a 6speed Galant, but considering how many 6 speed Maximas and altimas actually get sold, maybe it is for the best.

The 380 was the replacement for the Magna/Verada (Diamante) they didn't have the Galant in Austrailia lately.

I can see why they dont put 6 speed but why can't they make it an option. order from factory you know what do they lose? they going to put the 6 speed in the eclipse.

Can't say it will be cheap seeing parts will be only sold at dealers but at least you will have options now. Would be nice if there was a dealer turbo/supercharger option that is street legal. I hate stiff California emissions regulations.
